Sharon Kelly is a recipient of the Division of the Vice-President and Provost (DVPP)’s Emerging Leader Award for her leadership on complex, cross-functional initiatives in the Office of the Vice-Provost, Strategic Enrolment Management (VPSEM).

Sharon led the preparatory work for the peer review of undergraduate recruitment and played a central role in advancing the University’s academic space policy review, developing expertise that has made her one of the country’s leading voices on the topic. Sharon also spearheaded the Serving Scholars program for Canadian Armed Forces-affiliated students and new portfolio-wide guidelines for discretionary spending. Sharon is distinguished by her ability to bring clarity and structure to ambiguous, high-stakes work, her trust-based relationships across the University, and her service-oriented leadership in connecting and coordinating efforts across a large, diverse organization.
