Acting Dean, John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design
Professor Robert Levit was appointed Acting Dean of the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design beginning September 1, 2023 until Dean Juan Du’s return. Professor Levit served as the Associate Dean, Academic from 2017-2021. He also served as Director of the Master of Urban Design program from 2003-2010, and Director of the Master of Architecture program from 2013-2017.
Professor Levit’s research bridges the urban and architectural scale. His designs and writing on architecture have appeared in numerous domestic and foreign publications.
Professor Levit received his BA from Columbia University and is MA from Harvard University. Prior to beginning his own practice he worked for the architect, Alvaro Siza in Portugal.
