Principals, Deans, Academic Directors, and Chairs (PDAD&C)

Academic Administrators who have been appointed under the Policy on Appointment of Academic Administrators, as well as certain other senior administrators, are members of the Principals, Deans, Academic Directors, and Chairs Committee (PDAD&C).

The committee is convened by the Vice-President & Provost as a consultative and advisory body. PDAD&C discusses particular issues or developments as well as receives annual updates on topics ranging from the budget to human resources. The committee meets regularly during the academic year and also receives targeted communications via the Provost’s Weekly Digest.

2020-21 Meeting Dates

For the 2020-21 academic year, PDAD&C meetings will occur on the following dates below, from 10:10am to 12:00pm. Due to safety precautions in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and on the recommendation of public health, these meetings will be held online until further notice.

For PDAD&C meetings, the calendar invites and the agenda will not be sent until the Tuesday or Wednesday before the meeting. Please note these meeting dates in your calendar. Administrative staff in need of the agenda must contact their PDAD&C member.

Please note that only PDAD&C members and designated senior administrators are permitted to attend these meetings. PDAD&C members may request for permission to assign a designate to attend a particular meeting on their behalf by emailing at least one week prior to the meeting.

All PDAD&C members automatically receive the Provost’s Weekly Digest each Friday, which includes all new memoranda. Assistants to PDAD&C members, as well as other administrative staff, faculty, and librarians are welcome to request subscription online.
