Re:  President’s Advisory Committee on the Appointment of a Vice-President and Provost 

As I announced on September 24, 2014 Professor Cheryl Regehr will be completing her term as Vice-President and Provost on February 28, 2015. As noted in that memorandum Professor Regehr’s 18-month appointment was designed to ensure continuity of strong leadership during the administrative transition leading up to and following my taking office, and she is eligible for reappointment and for continuation in her role.

Following a call for nominations, I am pleased to announce that the membership of the Advisory Committee, which I will chair, is as follows:

As the Advisory Committee’s first task will be to undertake a review and advise me on the Office of the Vice-President and Provost and on priorities that should be considered for the Provost, the Committee is interested in receiving comments and advice on these matters to inform its review.
