As noted in PDAD&C #69 on May 29, 2014, Professor Julia O’Sullivan will complete her first term as Dean of the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto on June 30, 2015. Professor O’Sullivan is eligible for reappointment.
In accordance with Section 60 of the Policy on Appointment of Academic Administrators, President Meric Gertler has appointed a Committee to recommend the appointment of the Dean of OISE.  The composition of the Committee is as follows:

OISE programs and departments were assessed in a series of external reviews in 2011-12 in accordance with the University of Toronto Quality Assurance Process [UTQAP]. 

The Advisory Committee will begin meeting in the Fall Term.  The Advisory Committee welcomes comments from interested persons about the decanal appointment process.  Communications will be received in confidence and will be anonymized before consideration by the Advisory Committee.
