* The University of Toronto St. George campus will be closed and classes are cancelled effective 11:00 am. More information is available at SNOW (978-7669) or www.utoronto.ca

The procedure for the cancellation of classes and/or University closure due to adverse weather conditions can be found at http://www.provost.utoronto.ca/policy/snowclosure.htm

During a closure University buildings are closed, and students and staff are not to come to campus (with the exception of students in on-campus residences and staff engaged in essential services, which includes campus security, certain physical plant operations, caring for laboratory animals and services related to students' on-campus residences.) Anyone traveling to or from campus is encouraged to exercise extreme caution.

To assist with communication, snowstorm hotlines have been established on all three campuses (see below) and are advertised in the Bulletin and in various student newspapers, and on the website www.utoronto.ca.

Snow Storm Hotlines

Tri-campus hotline - 416-978-SNOW (7669)

UTM hotline - 905-569-4455

UTSC hotline - 416-287-7026

At this time, all three campuses expect to resume normal operation on Monday February 4th. Any changes to status will be posted at the websites noted above and on the hotlines.
