The University of Toronto has a practice of undertaking regular reviews of academic and service units. The last external review of the Library was in 1999.
I am pleased to inform you that an External Review team for the University of Toronto Library will be visiting the Library on September 29 and 30, 2008. Its members are Dr. Sarah E. Thomas, Bodley Librarian and Director, Oxford University Library Services, Oxford University, and Mr. James G. Neal, Vice-President for Information Services and University Librarian, Columbia University.
The terms of reference for the review are posted online on the Provost’s web site: http://www.provost.utoronto.ca/public/reports/library.htm
