As part of our efforts to provide central assistance for faculty recruitment, last summer the Provost's office developed an Employer Profile on the website of The Chronicle of Higher Education. It receives approximately 50,000 views per month and is linked to each advertisement placed in The Chronicle by any UofT unit as well as provides several useful links including Working at UofT and Academic Employment Opportunities.The Provost's office has renewed our Employer Profile with The Chronicle for the 2003-2004 academic year. This year, along with our Employer Profile, The Chronicle has offered us the opportunity to save on our advertising costs by signing a display ad advertising contract. Last year UofT placed over 12 display ads and 10 general ads in The Chronicle. On the basis of last years advertising activity, we have committed to placing at least 6 display ads in The Chronicle during 2003-2004.

To get the discounted rate, you must submit your ad online via http://careernetwork.com and quote our contract number.

  • 5% discount on ads 20 column inches or smaller
  • 7.5% discount on ads 21 to 40 column inches
  • 10% discount on ads over 40 column inches

Please ensure the person who administers your advertising is aware of this contract.
