Re:  Administration of doctoral students under the Canada-Brazil Ciência sem Fronteiras Scholarship Program

We are pleased to announce that the University of Toronto has successfully reached an agreement with the Canadian Bureau of International Education (CBIE) for the administration of doctoral students under the Canada-Brazil Ciência sem Fronteiras (Science without Borders) Scholarship Program (CsF). CBIE administers the majority of university-level CsF scholarships in Canada.

CsF is a Brazilian scholarship program which seeks to strengthen and expand the initiatives of science, technology, innovation and competitiveness through international academic mobility in the STEM disciplines. It is jointly funded by the Government of Brazil and the Brazilian private sector.

CsF-sponsored students who are admitted to the University of Toronto will be subject to all of the policies and procedures of the University of Toronto, and the university's jurisdiction over CsF-sponsored students with respect to admission and all matters addressed in these policies and procedures is exclusive. The University of Toronto is committed to internationalization and welcomes this opportunity to work with CBIE and the Government of Brazil to provide exceptional opportunities to top Brazilian students.

Any questions about CsF and graduate students should be directed to: Don MacMillan, Director, Student Services, School of Graduate Studies at don.macmillan@sgs.utoronto.ca.
