Further to PDAD&C#11, 2007-08 (http://www.provost.utoronto.ca/public/pdadc/0708/11.htm), in consultation with the Advisory Committee on the Vice-Provostial Portfolios I have developed a revised position description for a Vice-Provosts, Students. The core elements of this position are as follows:
The Vice-Provost, Students oversees operation, administration and delivery of programs and services in Student Recruitment, Admissions and Awards, Student Information Systems, International Student Exchange and the Office of Teaching Advancement.
The Vice-Provost, Students has responsibility for policies and procedures affecting students and student organizations across the three campuses.
The Vice-Provost is responsible for reporting on student experience, accessibility and financial aid.
The Vice-Provost, Students provides supervision to the Assistant Vice-President, Student Life who oversees the operation, administration and delivery of student programs and services on St. George Campus that include Accessibility Services; Career Centre; Centre for Community Partnerships; Counselling and Learning Skills Service; First Nations House; Health Service; International Student Centre; Multifaith Centre; Psychiatric Service; Student Housing Service; Student Life Programs; and Hart House.
