The Raymond and Beverly Sackler International Prize, awarded at Tel-Aviv University, has been established through the generosity of Dr. Raymond and Mrs. Beverly Sackler. Each year an amount of US$50,000 will be presented. The prize is intended to encourage dedication to science, originality and excellence, by awarding outstanding young international scientists of age 45 or younger. The field for the Year 2006 is Physics of Biological Molecules and Assemblies.
The deadline for nominations for the 2006 Sackler International Prize is February 15, 2006. Nomination form and guidelines can be found at http://www.tau.ac.il/president/sackler-biophysics.html.
