A Science Exhibition to be mounted by the Musée de la Civilization in Quebec City is currently at the planning stage. One of the goals is to showcase the impact of cutting-edge science on society, and has the potential to advance many of our own research advocacy goals. It is my hope that U of T will be represented with as many projects as possible.

The deadline to submit an idea is May 30, 2006.

Please circulate the call for proposals below, along with the submission form attached to this message, throughout your unit. There will be approximately 30 exhibits in total. These exhibits will be built by the museum, entirely at their cost. Researchers whose ideas have been selected might be contacted later for input but are by no means committed to participate in the realization phase. There should be no cost to the researchers associated with having an idea accepted for this exhibit.
