|Re:||Appointment of Ms. Elizabeth Sisam, Assistant Vice-President, Space and Facilities Planning|
I am pleased to announce that the Governing Council has approved the appointment of Elizabeth Sisam as Assistant Vice-President, Space & Facilities Planning effective July 1, 2005.
Ms. Sisam has a long and distinguished career as a senior Professional Manager at the University of Toronto. She has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Toronto (1976) and is a member of the Ontario Association of Architects and the Toronto Society of Architects. Ms. Sisam has published in a variety of areas including space in higher education facilities and has presented extensively on topics related to capital planning on post-secondary campuses. Ms. Sisam also has comprehensive project experience. In particular, her experience in the Campus and Facilities Planning portfolio, most recently in the role as Director, Campus and Facilities Planning, has provided her with an extremely rich knowledge of capital project planning at the University of Toronto. As a consequence, she is uniquely qualified to bring a depth of knowledge and perspective that will continue to be needed in this complex and critical portfolio.
I am confident that under Ms. Sisam’s leadership the Space & Facilities Planning portfolio will continue to play a critical role in the continued growth and development of the University of Toronto.
