As part of our efforts to provide central assistance for faculty recruitment, the Provost's office has placed an employer profile on the website of The Chronicle of Higher Education. It receives approximately 50,000 views per month and is linked to each advertisement placed in The Chronicle by any UofT unit, as well as providing several useful links including Working at UofT and Academic Employment Opportunities. The Provost's office has renewed our employer profile with The Chronicle for the 2004-05 academic year. It is located at: http://chronicle.com/jobs/profiles/10596.htm.
Along with our employer profile, The Chronicle offers us the opportunity to save on our advertising costs by signing a display ad advertising contract. Last year UofT placed ten display ads in The Chronicle. On the basis of last year’s advertising activity, we have committed to placing at least six display ads in The Chronicle during 2004-05. To get the discounted rate, you must submit your ad online via http://careernetwork.com and quote our contract number 000-683. There is a sliding scale of discounts based on the size of your ad. Please note that line ads and web ads are not covered by this contract and are therefore not eligible for any discounts.
