On June 30, 2003, Professor Lynne Howarth will complete her term as Dean of the Faculty of Information Studies. Though eligible for reappointment, Dean Howarth has decided not to continue for a second term but to return to her research and teaching.
In accordance with Section 60 of the Policy on Appointment of Academic Administrators (Perron Rules), President Robert Birgeneau has appointed a committee to recommend the appointment of a Dean of the Faculty of Information Studies, effective July 1, 2003. The composition of the committee is as follows:
The Committee welcomes comments and nominations from interested persons.
