|RE:||Move of Lynn Snowden to the University of Toronto at Mississauga|
Lynn Snowden, Assistant Vice-Provost, has accepted a transfer appointment as Assistant Vice-Principal at the University of Toronto at Mississauga, effective May 1, 2003. She will be working closely with Vice-Principal (Academic) Cheryl Misak. Personally, I deeply regret the loss of Lynn's experience and talent from the Provosts Office. That same expertise, however, will prove invaluable to UTM as it develops its new departmental administrative structures.
Given all that Lynn did in the Provost's office, we will take a brief time to reflect on how best to organize Academic Human Resources in the wake of her move to UTM and we will be communicating shortly about our plans. Effective immediately, Assistant Vice-Provost Carol Robb will assume responsibility for any matters related to academic appointments, tenure and promotions in all Divisions. Carol can be reached at 978-6662 or through her assistant, Pat Rafferty, at 978-2030.
