University of Toronto Awards
The Arbor Awards are a program of the Department of Alumni Relations and recognizes volunteers for outstanding personal service to the university. This award annually acknowledges the alumni and friends of the university whose loyalty, dedication and generosity have added substantially to the quality of the University of Toronto experience for students, faculty, staff and alumni.

Awards of Excellence
The Awards of Excellence are distinguished awards and scholarships jointly funded by the University of Toronto Alumni Association (UTAA) and other U of T partners. These prestigious awards acknowledge outstanding University of Toronto faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Awards
The Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Awards recognize students for outstanding extra-curricular contributions to their college, faculty, school or department, or to the university as a whole. The awards were established in 1994 by the University of Toronto Alumni Association (UTAA).

President’s Teaching Award
The President's Teaching Award recognizes colleagues with sustained excellence in teaching, research in teaching, and the integration of teaching and research, whose achievements are truly outstanding. Recipients of the President’s Teaching Awards form University of Toronto’s Teaching Academy.

University of Toronto Teaching Fellowships
The University of Toronto Teaching Fellowships (UTTF) are designed to develop and cultivate leadership and mentoring skills, capacity-building to support effectiveness, pedagogical innovation and pedagogical research, and will engage Fellows in a pedagogical project.

University of Toronto Early Career Teaching Award
The University of Toronto Early Career Teaching Award (ECTA) recognizes faculty members who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to student learning, pedagogical engagement and teaching innovation. Up to four awards of $3,000 each will be offered annually.

The University of Toronto recognizes unusual scholarly achievement and pre-eminence in a particular field of knowledge through the designation of University Professor. The number of such appointments does not generally exceed two per cent of the tenured faculty. Its very exclusivity stands to underline the highly prestigious nature of the University Professor designation.
